Learning Academy – Andrew Bartley

Andrew has been playing, teaching, and recording guitar off and on for 40+ years. He has written and recorded two instrumental CDs (with his first getting a Prairie Music Award nomination), gone to music school in Nelson, played with bands on the Island, and bought too much educational material related to learning the guitar. He has presented courses at the Foot Hills Acoustic Music Institute, taught weekly students of all ages with a variety of stylistic interests, and taught theory class for groups of 80 with Guitar Church in Alberta. “Guitar is the perfect instrument. Simple knowledge can turn into hours of joy.” Andrew has called the Alberni Valley home since 2021.
