Learning Academy – Devon Barker

Devon Barker has been playing drums since the age of 11. He graduated from Alberni District Secondary in 2015 as a drummer for their Concert Band, Jazz Band, Jazz Combo, and Vocal Combo programs. He received recognition at multiple high-level competitions including the West Coast Jazz Festival, MusicFest Canada, and the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival in Idaho. He is able to teach music theory as well as playing drums in multiple styles of music including Rock, Jazz, Latin, and Blues.
